Weekly Sponsors


Each newsletter has room for one sponsor, which appears at the top and smack dab in the middle of the newsletter. Sponsors can share appx. 100 words and an image.

  • What for: Organizations, institutions, or (genuinely) mission-driven brands who want to get in front of a vast audience of creative, savvy, smart individuals across a number of industries. 

  • How much: Fees for weekly sponsors use a sliding scale and include discounts for multiple weeks. 

    • 1 week:  $500-$1,000

    • 2 weeks: $1,050-$2,100

    • 3 weeks: $1,250-$2,500  

  • What to do: Please email rachel@wordsofmouth.org with:

    • The week(s) you're interested in

    • A few words about your organization, who you hope to reach with a sponsorship slot, and why

    • How much you can afford on the sliding scale

As with the rest of the newsletter’s listings, weekly sponsors will be chosen carefully. Readers place deep trust in the newsletter, and any featured sponsor is receiving a tacit endorsement. So while I’m very happy to hear from all who are interested, I will only feature sponsors who align with the newsletter’s stated values (see Criteria on the Submit page) and serve the interests of readers. 

 

A bit about WoM readers

The newsletter goes out to over 47,000 people every week and maintains an open rate of over 75%.

Readers are located in almost every state in the US, (plus some internationals), with heavy concentration in New York, and secondary crowds in metro areas like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and Philadelphia.

Among them are designers, artists, museum workers, writers and editors, filmmakers, activists, civic technologists, PhD students, librarians and archivists, interdisciplinary researchers, career changers, and recent undergrads searching for their first job.
